1. Introduction

This Seller Responsibility Policy outlines the obligations and responsibilities of all users (“Sellers”) who purchase, store, or ship products through Fulfillbot (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By using Fulfillbot’s services—including sourcing, inspection, warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics—you acknowledge and accept the responsibilities described in this Policy.

Fulfillbot acts solely as a service provider und not as:

  • A seller of goods

  • A manufacturer

  • A brand owner

  • A distributor

  • An importer of record

You, as the Seller, are fully responsible for the legality, authenticity, and compliance of all products handled through Fulfillbot.


2. Product Legality & Compliance

As a Seller, you are solely responsible for ensuring that all products you source, store, or ship through Fulfillbot comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Import/export laws

  • Customs regulations

  • Consumer protection laws

  • Health & safety requirements

  • Intellectual property laws

  • Marketplace-specific rules (Amazon, Shopify, TikTok, eBay, Walmart, etc.)

Fulfillbot does not verify or guarantee that your products comply with any law, regulation, or platform policy.


3. Brand Authorization & Intellectual Property

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • You are legally authorized to sell branded or trademarked products

  • Your products do not infringe any trademark, copyright, patent, or design right

  • You possess valid documentation (e.g., invoices, authorization letters) upon request

You must not use Fulfillbot to handle:

  • Counterfeit or replica products

  • Unauthorized branded items

  • Pirated media or content

  • Products that violate third-party IP rights

  • Items commonly associated with brand infringement

If Fulfillbot suspects a violation, we may:

  • Request documentation

  • Decline to process the items

  • Suspend your account

  • Remove or destroy inventory

  • Report violations to rights holders or authorities


4. Product Authenticity

You must guarantee that all products fulfilled through Fulfillbot are authentic, original, and legally purchased.

Upon request, you must provide:

  • Official purchase invoices

  • Proof of authenticity

  • Authorization or distribution certificates

  • Supply chain documentation

Failure to provide valid documentation may result in:

  • Order cancellation

  • Account suspension

  • Inventory disposal

  • Withholding of funds


5. Product Quality & Safety

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all products:

  • Meet the quality standards of their market

  • Comply with safety certifications required in their destination country

  • Do not pose health or safety risks

  • Match the product descriptions provided to customers

Fulfillbot is not liable for:

  • Defects arising from manufacturing

  • Product safety issues

  • Mismatch between listing and actual product

  • Customer complaints related to quality

Our inspection service (if purchased) is visual and basic, not a substitute for full product testing.


6. Listing Accuracy & Marketplace Compliance

You must ensure that your product listings on all platforms adhere to:

  • Marketplace rules (Amazon, Shopify, TikTok, eBay, etc.)

  • Pricing accuracy

  • Correct product specifications

  • Image and content usage rights

Fulfillbot does not provide:

  • Compliance audits

  • Listing approval checks

  • Brand registry validation

  • Advice regarding restricted categories

All platform enforcement actions (e.g., account suspension, ASIN removal, listing takedown) are your sole responsibility.


7. Customs, Duties, and Import/Export Compliance

You acknowledge that:

  • You are the importer/exporter of record

  • Fulfillbot does not represent you before customs

  • You are responsible for all duties, taxes, documents, and declarations

  • Customs delays, seizures, fines, or confiscations arising from your products are your responsibility

Fulfillbot may:

  • Refuse to ship prohibited items

  • Request customs documents where required

  • Suspend shipments pending verification


8. High-Risk Products

Certain product categories are classified as High-Risk, including but not limited to:

  • Branded goods (electronics, apparel, accessories, luxury goods)

  • IP-sensitive items

  • Health or beauty products

  • Items with regulatory requirements (FDA, CE, FCC, CPSIA, etc.)

  • Products with frequent rights-holder complaints

For such items, Fulfillbot may:

  • Require additional documentation

  • Delay fulfillment

  • Refuse storage or shipment

  • Apply stricter inspection protocols


9. Prohibited Items

Sellers must not use Fulfillbot to source, store, or ship:

  • Counterfeit or unauthorized branded items

  • Illegal or controlled goods

  • Dangerous goods prohibited by carriers

  • Weapons, drugs, or restricted chemicals

  • Financial, political, or high-liability items

  • Products banned by destination country regulations

If discovered, Fulfillbot may destroy the items or refuse service.


10. Inventory Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Accuracy of inventory information

  • Timely removal of inactive or risky products

  • Ensuring that stored items comply with laws and safety standards

  • Storage fees, long-term fees, and disposal fees

Fulfillbot may dispose of:

  • Abandoned inventory

  • Illegal, counterfeit, or unsafe products

  • Items repeatedly flagged by carriers or platforms


11. Limitation of Liability

Fulfillbot is not responsible for:

  • Losses caused by illegal or infringing products

  • Platform enforcement actions

  • Customs detentions or confiscations

  • Damage due to improper product design or manufacturing

  • Seller’s misrepresentation, non-compliance, or negligence

Fulfillbot’s responsibility is limited to the services explicitly purchased.


12. Cooperation With Authorities & Rights Holders

Fulfillbot may cooperate with:

  • Law enforcement

  • Customs authorities

  • Carriers

  • Intellectual property rights holders

We reserve the right to provide information when legally required or when protecting our platform and customers.


13. Policy Violations

If you violate this Policy, Fulfillbot may:

  • Suspend or terminate your account

  • Cancel orders

  • Withhold funds

  • Destroy or return inventory

  • Block future use of our services

Repeated or severe violations may result in legal action.


14. Acceptance of This Policy

By using Fulfillbot’s services, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and agreed to this Policy

  • You accept full responsibility for your products

  • You understand the consequences of non-compliance

  • You authorize Fulfillbot to take necessary actions to maintain platform safety

Continued use of the platform means continued acceptance of updated versions of this Policy.
